No two tamariki or rangatahi are the same. TTK provides flexible mentoring and wellbeing programmes that can be tailored around individual strengths, needs, kura and whānau.
Our mahi ranges from intensive one to one mentoring through to group and whole school programmes, with a focus on connection, confidence, resilience, wellbeing and positive pathways.
Individualised mentoring for tamariki and rangatahi who benefit from consistent, trusted support.
Our one to one mahi is built around relationship and connection. Mentors work alongside each young person through activities, practical experiences, goal setting and regular kōrero, creating opportunities to build confidence, strengthen wellbeing and develop positive strategies for everyday challenges.
Support can take place within kura or in the community and can be tailored around the needs of the tamaiti or rangatahi.
Activity based programmes that use sport, movement and positive challenge to strengthen wellbeing, confidence and connection.
Tū Toa creates an environment where tamariki and rangatahi can experience success, practise teamwork, develop resilience and build positive relationships through participation and activity.
Programmes can be tailored for individual groups or wider kura delivery, with activities used as a vehicle for engagement, leadership, emotional regulation and personal growth.
Targeted programmes delivered alongside kura to respond to the needs of tamariki and rangatahi.
TTK works with schools to develop practical programmes around areas such as confidence, relationships, emotional regulation, leadership, life skills, digital wellbeing and positive engagement at kura.
Delivery can range from small targeted groups through to wider school programmes, allowing support to be shaped around what each kura and its tamariki need.
Practical, activity based support that creates opportunities for tamariki and rangatahi to learn, connect and grow outside the traditional classroom environment.
Through community activities and real world experiences, TTK supports rangatahi to develop confidence, independence, decision making, communication and everyday life skills.
Activities are shaped around the interests, strengths and goals of each rangatahi, using positive experiences as opportunities for learning, connection and personal growth.
Opportunities for rangatahi to recognise their strengths, develop confidence and grow as leaders within their kura, whānau and communities.
Through leadership activities, wānanga, positive challenges and shared experiences, rangatahi are encouraged to have a voice, take responsibility and recognise the contribution they can make to those around them.
Programmes can be tailored for small groups and developed alongside kura to reflect the strengths and aspirations of their rangatahi.
Every referral is different. If you are unsure which programme or level of support would best suit a tamaiti, rangatahi or group, get in touch with TTK. We can kōrero about what is happening, what support may be appropriate and our current availability.
